What does a solicitor do? A solicitor will take care of some or all of the process of buying or selling a property - for a fee. The solicitor will act as advisor and conveyancer. Should the buyer or seller require conveyancy searches, the solicitor will order the searches for you. The solicitor will also take care of any contracts and documentation required. If you decide that you don't need a soliciter, then you can follow the advice and use the resources of this site.
