About Do Your Own Conveyancing

Do Your Own Ltd helps people understand and manage conveyancing and provides access to relevant information and resources. We are determined to make as much information available as possible for free and to keep our prices competitive. Our goal is to remove the fear and mystery that often surrounds conveyancing and to help visitors gain enough information to make an informed decision about how they choose to manage their conveyancing. In the long term, we have a vision of Do Your Own Conveyancing as a community where amateur and professional conveyancers are able to share experiences and information.

Following initial interest in Do Your Own Conveyancy, it became clear that there is a demand for a similar approach to the introduction of HIPS. Do Your Own HIPS is a logical extension of the Do Your Own philosophy and will continue to grow during the HIPS rollout.

The crab featured in the Do Your Own Conveyancy logo is a hermit crab, renowned for discarding one shell and moving into another, bigger, one. Taking inspiration from this easy transition, we have adopted the hermit crab as our mascot and hope to make your property transfer almost as easy.
